Wine and Water Cape Cod

The 3 Best Wineries & Vineyards on Cape Cod

With three award-winning wineries to explore, Cape Cod is the perfect getaway for wine enthusiasts. Charming tasting rooms and barrel-aging cellars filled with premium wines that showcase our unique terroir. This is what you’ll find on your tour of the finest Cape Cod wineries.

Here are three of our favorites.

Wine Barrel First Crush Cape Cod

1. First Crush Winery | Olde Depot, 527 North Main Street, Harwich

Hobbyist turned winemaker Frank Puzio located his winery – First Crush – directly off the Cape Cod Rail Trail and has set out to immerse visitors into a full view of his actual winemaking facility. You’ll be enchanted by your surroundings, which feature stainless tanks, wine barrels, and one of the largest antique corkscrew collections in existence. And you’ll be wowed by the knowledge of the staff, as well as the quality and taste of the First Crush wines. Whether you choose the standard or premier tasting options, you’ll love this hidden gem. Don’t miss their famous Turbo Wine Slushy!

Cape Cod Winery Grounds

2. Cape Cod Winery | 4 Oxbow Road, East Falmouth

Once home to one of the very first strawberry farms in the area, the Orlandella family found a stunning backdrop for their Cape Cod vineyard and winery. They’ve created a charming oasis just three miles from the ocean in the coastal town of East Falmouth. You’ll be treated to tastings under a post and beam tent. Crushed seashells underfoot. A fire pit for chilly days. Live music concert series. Vino and vinyasa yoga. Nine varieties of wine. And more. Their popular Rose’ Mermaid Water never disappoints! Bring your own bite to eat and claim a cozy spot in the vineyard to call your own.

Grapes growing in the vinifera vineyard in Truro, Massachusetts

3. Truro Vineyards of Cape Cod | 11 Route 6A, North Truro

Truro brought ‘maritime grape growing’ to the Cape, harvesting Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot, directly on their 5-acre farm. The sandy soil, warm ocean breezes and temperate climate combine to produce wines with such intense flavor, you will swear you are tasting Cape Cod. Your innkeeper recommends the chardonnay. Stop by for a tasting in their carefully restored 1830’s farmhouse. Have lunch on their beautiful grounds. And check out their new onsite South Hollow Spirits distillery.
